Local Miss Scholarship Pageants
A SALUTE TO THE MISS WISCONSIN LOCAL PAGEANTS AND CHAIRPERSONS
Each of the contestants for the Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Pageant must begin her quest for the Miss America crown by entering a local pageant. Without the dedication and long hours of volunteer work on the part of our local pageant chairmen, businesses, community groups and individuals, these young women on our stage tonight would not have been afforded the opportunity to compete for additional scholarships at the state level. Let us salute those groups of individuals who have given so unselfishly of their time, talents and efforts to help one young woman go on to represent the state of Wisconsin at The Miss America Pageant.

Young women between the ages of 17 and 24 that are residents of central Wisconsin and at least a senior in high school are eligible. They will compete in Interview, Talent, Evening Gown, and Swimsuit. Any one interested should contact Helen Zimmerman, Co-Executive Director, at 715-423-8052 for an application.
