MISS AMERICA'S OUTSTANDING TEENS 2011 at NATIONAL COMPETITION

Orlando, FL- August 13, 2011- Miss America's Outstanding Teens (MAOTeen) arrived in Orlando, FL this weekend to kick off the week of national competition. MAOTeen, the "little sister" to the Miss America Organization, is hosting 53 representatives competing in evening gown, fitness and talent competitions for the chance to win scholarships totaling over $300,000 and the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012. The competition will be held at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center beginning on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 and concluding on Saturday, August 20, 2011.

The Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen Pageant is an Official State Pageant of the Miss Wisconsin Organization.
The Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen Pageant (WIOT) is an official state preliminary to Miss America's Outstanding Teen. Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen is a scholarship based program giving accomplished teens the opportunity to win college scholarship funds. The Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen program joins Miss America's Outstanding Teen in promoting scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America's teens.
The competition is intended to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, community service, and academic achievement of girls between 13 and 17 years of age.
