Teaka Griesbach , 2010 Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen

Hi! I am Teaka Griesbach a 15 year old from Combined Locks.  It is such an honor for me to be representing our wonderful state as your Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen, and taking part in the Miss America program has been a long time dream of mine! You see, when I was 4 years old my mom custom made me a little silver gown complete with a detachable train and everything! I wore a crown and a homemade sash that clearly read Miss America. It was warm out that Halloween so I proudly paraded around the neighborhood striking my pose and collecting my awards (the candy)! Being crowned as your 2010 Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen is truly a dream come true and has put me one step closer to my ultimate dream goal! I am excited for the year ahead, as I already have made so many new friends and some amazing memories to last a lifetime!

By reaching out to those within and beyond my own community, I am inspiring others to choose to make a difference, choose to get involved, and choose to stay active. It takes just one person, one action, one idea, to spark interest and inspire change. As an active freshman, I participated on the Kaukauna Dance Team and danced competitively at Barbs Centre for Dance in Green Bay. Now a Sophomore I am focusing strictly in the studio and on competitive dance, strengthening my skills for the future. After High School my plan is to obtain my Bachelor of Science degree, continue dancing and become a registered nurse. When I’m not dancing or in school you will find me shopping, traveling or spending time with my family and friends. I stay pretty busy but honestly ... I wouldn't have it any other way!! :)

...have friends that live in Nebraska, Arizona, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Tennessee and Minnesota
...my lucky number is seven
...I was a top five finalist for the fourpoints magazine cover model 
...this is going to be the most amazing year of my life!!!
