Holiday Gift Guide for Wisconsin Titleholders

In the spirit of the holidays and being thankful for what we have, I’m especially thankful for the state of Wisconsin – its people, the products, the history, and its overall camaraderie that Badger State residents exude.  With that being said, let’s maintain those rich relations by supporting some Wisconsin businesses, Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Competition sponsors, and good ol’ Wisconsin branded products (any bolded items are Miss Wisconsin sponsors).

Here’s a list of 18 “Wisconsin Items for Your Pageant Queen” this holiday season:

  1. A Kwik Trip gift card. – Not only is Kwik Trip family owned, but they are an employee focused company with profit sharing.  Kwik Trip came on board as an official Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Competition sponsor in August, and we are sincerely appreciative of their support!  Help show your appreciation too by buying your titleholder a gift card to keep her fueled and nourished along her travels!
  2. Wisconsin “Home” Shirt ($30.00)
  3. Bee Bella Chapstick ($5.99) – Another Miss Wisconsin sponsor and a great stocking stuffer!
  4. “I Believe in Miracles” Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals T-Shirt ($5.50) – Support the Miss America Organization’s national platform, CMN Hospitals, by purchasing your queen some clothing and/or accessories from the national website.
  5. Original Cheesehead Factory Tiara Foam Cheesehead ($16.25) – For a few years, I purchased these for the outgoing Miss Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen as a congratulatory present.
  6. Point Root Beer – 4 pack of 12 oz. bottles($3.99) – “Point Premium Root Beer combines 100% real sugar with pure water, Wisconsin honey and natural vanilla. A Gold Medal winner, this Point root beer has the rich, creamy flavor of draft root beer.”  The Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Competition is thankful to have Point as a sponsor!
  7. My Place Wisconsin Map Mug from Bed, Bath & Beyond ($5.99)
  8. BeeSpa Hand + Foot Cream ($29.99)
  9. Northwoods Cheese Company – A rather delicious Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Competition sponsor.  Scroll their website and choose from a variety of cheeses, hand carved cutting boards, recipes and so much more!
  10. BUBBL’R – You guessed it!  BUBBL’R is another Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Competition sponsor.  The antioxidant waters provide natural energy from green tea, leaving you refreshed and energized without the caffeine lag or anxiousness.  Head to their website to find a location near you that sells their products; perfect stocking stuffers!
  11. Rubi Reds – Did you know cranberries are Wisconsin’s state fruit?  As a state, we produce 60 percent of the world’s cranberry supply!  Rubi Reds, located in my hometown of Wisconsin Rapids sells dried cranberries, chocolate covered cranberries, trail mix, and cranberry beef sticks (just to name a few).
  12. Door County Coffee – Let’s be honest, the gift of caffeine is truly the gift of life (it keeps on giving).  Door County Coffee is a Wisconsin company AND not only do they have grounds available, but K-Cups as well!
  13. Wisconsin Candle Company – This Waunakee based business has candles, bath salts, bath bombs, essential oils, and beautiful items for the home (ornaments, Wisconsin signs, notepads, coasters, towels, magnets, etc.)
  14. Door County Chocolate Covered Cherries – Because we all deserve to indulge in treats every now and then!
  15. Steamfast Handheld Travel Steamer, Kohl’s ($23.99) – I have a Conair one from Walmart that I purchased for $20, and it’s a life savor!
  16. Rustic Wisconsin sign from Etsy
  17. Miss America 2019 Interview Package (available for immediate, digital download — $65.00)  The Top 10 Interviews are available in addition to the Preliminary On-Stage Question/Interview winners (which includes me, Miss Wisconsin…what is life?!).
  18. Wisconsin Ornament – One of my favorite gifts every year is an ornament.  I love receiving something so simple, but memorable that helps to commemorate the year, signify a special event, or simply add to my Christmas decor!
